Jason Rexilius is founder and CEO of hostedLABS, an Application Delivery Network (ADN) for LAMP-based applications. Having been raised on distributed computing in POSIX environments he has spent much of his career hacking together old concepts with new technologies. His love of efficiency, security and simplicity drove him towards the LAMP environment when building new Web applications, while his experience in enterprise architecture strengthened his bias towards services. He has been an advocate of open source technologies in general, and LAMP specifically in both the enterprise and in the start-up community for years—both contributing to, and sponsoring projects as possible.
