He is an author of the best-selling PHP and MySQL Web Development (Sams Publishing) and MySQL Tutorial (MySQL Press) and has extensive experience as a consultant and trainer in Web technologies and Open Source, and regularly speaks on these topics at worldwide conferences including OSCON, ZendCon, MySQLUC, PHPCon, OSDC and LinuxTag.
Prior to joining OmniTI, Luke worked for Web analytics company, Hitwise.com; database vendor, MySQL AB; and as an independent consultant.
Luke is a keen eventer, so when he's not working, he often can be found on horseback.
