Images can be considered an integral part to user generated content, though unfortunately there are dozens of formats and it can be guaranteed they won't be right for the way you want to use them. This session will cover manipulation of images using both ImageMagick (imagick extension) and GD.
The session will cover the basics such as resizing, cropping and filtering of images and beyond such as animation, watermarking and creating composites.
