This session deals with implementing a search engine in your PHP applications.
This talk will focus on the integration of a Java based application (Solr), and PHP based applications and how to use the interface between the two systems. A couple of integration techniques where tested before one was selected.
Strengths and weaknesses of these techniques will be presented. The talk will also compare the performance of a PHP/Java solution compared to a pure PHP solution.
