Out-of-the-Box, PHP does not support the declaration of a type for the attributes of a class. This can lead to problems when you expose a PHP class as a Web Service and want to automatically generate the WSDL from the class' sourcecode, for instance. Against the backdrop of this problem statement, this session will make the audience familiar with PHP's __get() and __set() interceptors while an annotations-based solution for the problem is developed. The session also highlights existing annotation frameworks for PHP and shows additional use cases.
