Welcome to the Call for Speakers for php[tek] 2017 taking place in Atlanta during the week of May 22-26. The call will end on December 30th, 2016 at 11:59:59pm EST, so make sure that you get your submissions in before that time!
We recognize the tremendous amount of effort that goes into preparing a professional conference presentation and therefore compensate our speakers if they need it. We offer our speakers:
We are accepting the following types of talks:
We heartily suggest that you submit more than one proposal. Most speakers will be asked to present two talks due to budget. Therefore the more submissions you make, the higher your chances of being accepted. Make sure your talk title and description clearly define what attendees will learn in your session. Use your own voice and express yourself to us personally, and we give precedence to presentations that haven’t been given before as well.
By the time the call for papers ends, our team of reviewers will have rated every submission using a partial-blind rating method. However; having the highest rated talk doesn’t mean you will be selected. Our goal is to create a balanced conference with a cross-section of new and useful topics. We will notify speakers in mid-January when we have the schedule ready.
We do require all our speakers to follow our Code of Conduct. Please familiarize yourself with it.
